The man found dead in his car early Friday morning has been identified as Michael John Baldwin.

The man who was found dead inside a stolen Lexus early Friday morning has been identified Sunday as Michael John Baldwin, 34. Baldwin was found Friday at approximately 7 a.m. on the 5500 block of Margaret Avenue with a gunshot wound to the head.

Authorities arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting Friday, said Officer Karen Rayner. Rayner said a perimeter was set up, which led to a suspect being arrested near the place where Baldwin's body was discovered. The Lexus had been stolen in West Los Angeles about two weeks earlier, police said.

The suspect's name has not been released at this time.
