Man with Shotgun Threatens to Kill Himself at his Culver City Business

Another adult got the gun away from the man, and no one was injured.

A man with a shotgun threatened to kill himself at his business in Culver City today, but he was disarmed by the time police arrived, police said.

The incident was reported in the 11300 block of West Washington Boulevard about 2:30 p.m., said a Culver City police sergeant who declined to give his full name.

Another adult got the gun away from the man, and no one was injured, the sergeant said.

Asked if the man who threatened to kill himself was arrested, the sergeant would only say that he would not be facing charges.
