Freeway Crash Snarls Traffic for Culver City Commuters

A motorcyclist was injured today in a multi-vehicle crash on the westbound Santa Monica (10) Freeway in West Los Angeles that snarled traffic on the 405 Freeway through Culver City.

The crash was reported about 8 a.m. near Bundy Drive, the California Highway Patrol reported.

Paramedics transported the injured person for hospital treatment, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department. The severity of the injury was not immediately known.

Traffic was backed up on the 10 Freeway and also on the nearby San Diego (405) Freeway while crews worked to clear the scene.
