Early Morning Hit and Run on Westbound 10 Freeway
An elderly woman was struck by a car around 5 a.m. on the Westbound 10 Freeway near Robertson Boulevard, reports CHP.
An elderly woman was struck by a car on the Westbound10 Freeway near Robertson Boulevard early Tuesday morning, reports the California Highway Patrol.
CHP Officer Micheaux told Patch officers responded to the incident at around 5:20 a.m. and that the case is being investigated as a hit and run. The woman suffered leg injuries and was taken to UCLA Medical Center.
A witness reported that the woman was seen wandering on the freeway and was struck multiple times.

Westbound lanes 2, 3 and 4 on the 10 West were closed until 6:16 a.m. The investigation is ongoing.
