Culver City Woman Carjacked by Santa Monica Gunman

Laura Sisk, 41, was driving her Mazda in the 2000 block of Yorkshire Ave. in Santa Monica when she was stopped by a man whom she thought was a Secret Service Agent.

Culver City resident, Laura Sisk, 41 was carjacked on Friday morning in Santa Monica by the man responsible for the shootings in Santa Monica, reports the Los Angeles Times.

According to the Times, Sisk initially thought she had been stopped by a Secret Service Agent because of how he was dressed and because she knew President Obama was in town. However, Sisk said the man then aimed a gun at her and told her, "You're going to drive me to Santa Monica College and let me out."

Sisk said she begged him to just take the car but he insisted the she drive.
She added that the man promised her that as long as she cooperated and didn't "do anything stupid" he wouldn't hurt her.
During the drive from Yorkshire Avenue to the college, the gunman opened fire on a bus near Cloverfield and Pico boulevards, injuring one woman, then shot at two people in a car in the parking lot near the college (the driver died and the passenger was critically injured).

When Sisk let the gunman out of the car she  told the Times she sped down the block then got out of the car and ran.
