Culver City to Hold 9/11 Memorial Service

To commemorate the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks a ceremony will be held in the Culver City Hall Courtyard at 6:45 a.m. on Tues. Sept. 11.

The Culver City Police Department, in conjunction with the Culver City Fire Department will host a Sept. 11 Memorial Service in the courtyard of City Hall at 9770 Culver Blvd. on Tues. Sept. 11 at 6:45 a.m.

Among the attendees will be City and other government officials. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

The service will commemorate the many firefighters, police officers, military personnel and civilians who died during the terrorist attack of Sept. 11, 2001.

Public parking will be available in the City Hall parking lot.

Any members of the public who lost a loved one in the attack who plan on attending the service are asked to please call Lieutenant Ron Iizuka at (310) 253-6258 so that they can be appropriately recognized during the service.
