Culver City Police Department Open House

The boys in blue will open up the station and the jail to the public on Sept. 15.

On Saturday Sept. 15 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. the Culver City Police Department will open up its facilities to the public.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore police vehicles and equipment, visit with officers and forensic specialists and ask them everything you’ve ever wanted to know.

Other highlights will include K-9 demonstrations, an up close look at police weapons, and you can even have your photo taken on a police motorcycle.

There will also be booths highlighting some of Culver City’s programs including Neighborhood Watch and CERT training.

Free food and drink for everyone as well as raffles and the chance to win a bicycle.

The event will take place at the Police Department at 4040 Duquesne Avenue.
