Culver City Police Blotter: Theft from Motor Vehicles, Residential Burglary

A man says someone stole his car's catalytic converter and other crime blotter from the Culver City Police Department.

Here is a recap of crimes from Oct. 2 through Oct. 7 as reported by the Culver City Police Department:

Stolen vehicle:
On Oct. 2 at 7:57 a.m., officers responded to the 6100 block of Washington Boulevard regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; the victim said he parked and locked his 2000 Chevrolet van in the 3200 block of La Cienega Avenue on Oct. 1 at 5 p.m. When he returned the next morning the vehicle was missing.

Burglary from motor vehicle:
On Oct. 2 at 2:30 p.m, a victim called the police department to report his 2001 Chevrolet truck had been burglarized. The victim said he parked and locked his truck in the 6000 block of Buckingham Parkway on Oct. 1, 2013 at 9:10 p.m. When he returned the next day at 8:25 a.m., he discovered the passenger door had been pried open and his property missing.

Theft from motor vehicles:
On Oct. 2 at 12:35 p.m., a victim called the police department to report his car’s catalytic converter had been stolen. The victim said he parked and locked his 2001 Nissan in the 3300 block of Sherbourne Drive on Oct. 1 at 7 p.m. When he drove the car the next day he heard a loud noise. He took the car to his mechanic and discovered his property missing.

Residential Burglary:
On Oct. 4 at 4 p.m., officers responded to the 11500 block of Culver Park Drive regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she locked and secured her residence at 5:15 a.m., when she returned at 4 p.m. she discovered the front door was opened. As she walked through the location she discovered her property was missing.

Car Burglary:
On Oct. 6 at 8 p.m., a victim called the police department to report her 2012 Honda had been burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the 3900 block of Midway Avenue on Oct. 6, 2013 at 6:30 pm. When she returned at 15 minutes later she discovered the truck had been opened and her property missing.
