Culver City Police Blotter: Stolen Fiat, Shattered Windows
A woman's Fiat is stolen in the 3800 block of Huron Avenue.
Here is a recap of crimes from Aug. 6 through Aug. 12 as reported by the Culver City Police Department:
Theft:
On August 13, 2013 at 10:06 a.m., a victim came to the police department to report she had her purse stolen. The victim said she was at work in the 11300 block of Washington Boulevard on August 12th. She had left for lunch and returned at 2:00 p.m. and placed her property in her office. At 5:55 p.m., she discovered her property was missing.

On August 15, 2013 at 5:42 a.m., officers responded to the 11100 block of Overland Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them he received a call from the alarm company regarding an activation. He then drove to the location a short time later and discovered unknown suspect(s) had shattered the window to gain entry into the location. Once inside the suspect(s) removed property.

On August 16, 2013 at 7:00 a.m., officers responded to the 5200 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a vandalism investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them he arrived at work and discovered the front window had been shattered. The reporting party said he closed the business the night before and when he returned at 6:50 a.m., discovered the damage.
Car Burglary:
On August 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., a victim came to the police department to report her 2002 Chevrolet SUV had been broken into. The victim said she parked and locked her vehicle near the intersection of Jefferson Boulevard and Leahy Street that morning at 9:00 a.m. When she returned at 11:00 a.m., she discovered her rear passenger window had been shattered and her property missing.
