Attempt Stolen Vehicle:
On August 27, 2013 at 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them he parked and locked his 2011 Yamaha motorcycle at 5 p.m. When he returned at 10 p.m., he noticed the ignition and steering lock had been tampered with in an attempt to steal the vehicle.
On August 28, 2013 at 9:20 pm, officers responded to the 4000 block of Wade Street regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them she left her residence locked and secured at 9:20 p.m. When she returned at 9:50 p.m., she discovered a bedroom window was opened and her property was missing.
On August 30, 2013 at 9:03 p.m., officers responded to the 5300 block of Emporia Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them she and her husband left their residence locked and secured on August 23, 2013 and returned on August 25th. On August 30, she noticed some of her property missing from the location. The victim remembered that a screen door was partially opened that day they returned.
On September 1, 2013 at 8:35, officers responded to the 6200 block of Canterbury Drive regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them he was walking toward his car when he was approached by two suspects. One of the suspects asked him for directions and the other suspect pointed a handgun at him. Fearing for his safety, he gave the suspects his property. The suspects were described as two black males, 20-25 years of age, 5’8" tall with a thin build.
