Culver City Police Blotter: Cashier Robbed by Armed Suspect

The following information is from the Culver City Police Department:

Crime Blotter for November 18th through the 25th.

Residential Burglary:

On November 20, 2013 at 8:25 am, officers responded to the 3900 block of Albright Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the reporting party who told them the following; he said the home is currently under construction and the perimeter is secured with a locked fence. On November 19, 2013 at 5:00 pm, he locked and secured the location. When he returned the next morning, he discovered that unknown suspect(s) had removed property from the location.

On November 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm, a victim came to the police department to report the theft of her property from the 8600 block of Hayden Avenue. The victim said an ex-employee removed the property after she was terminated.

Residential Burglary:

On November 21, 2013 at 6:25 pm, officers responded to the 3800 block of Holly view Terrace regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he left his residence locked and secured at 5:15 pm. When he returned at 6:25 pm he heard noises from inside his residence as he unlocked the front door he saw a male Black, 5’11 to 6”0, 175-180 lbs, and wearing a dark jacket running out the rear door. The suspect had entered the location and was in the process of removing the victim’s property when he fled the location.

Commercial Robbery:

On November 23, 2013 at 6:49 pm, officers responded to the 11300 block of Culver Boulevard regarding robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was working behind the counter when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect lifted his shirt and displayed a handgun in his waistband and demanded the money from the cash register. Fearing for his safety, the victim opened the drawer and gave the suspect the money. The suspect then fled the location. The suspect was described as male Hispanic or white, 25-30 years of age, 6’0 to 6’5, 190-210 lbs and short dark hair.

Stolen Vehicle:

On November 23, 201 at 8:39 pm, officers responded to the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers me with the victim who told them the following; she parked and locked her 1992 Mitsubishi at 2:00 pm. When she returned at 5:30 pm her vehicle was missing.
