Culver City Police Blotter: Cars Burglarized, Vandalized

Two car break-ins were reported on the same day.

Here's a recap of crimes that occurred between March 19 and March 25, as reported to the Culver City Police Department.

Theft from Motor Vehicle

On March 19 at 12 p.m., a victim came to the police department to report a theft of her property from her 2004 Mercedes. The victim said she parked her car in the 3000 block of Reid Avenue at 8 p.m. When she returned the next day at 8:30 a.m. she discovered her property missing.

Theft from Motor Vehicle

On March 19 at 7:20 p.m., a victim called the police department to report the theft of his property from his 2013 Toyota. The victim said he parked and locked his vehicle in the 11200 block of Washington Place but left a suitcase in the bed of the truck. When he returned a few minutes later, the suitcase was missing.

Vandalism

On March 21 at 3:45 p.m., a victim came to the police department to report her 2011 Mercedes had been vandalized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the 10100 block of Culver Boulevard at 12:30 p.m. When she returned she discovered her driver side mirror had been broken off.

Burglary

On March 23 at 6 p.m., a victim came the police department to report that residence was burglarized. The victim said she and her roommate left her residence locked and secured at 8 a.m. When she returned at midnight she discovered her bedroom had been ransacked and her property missing.
