Culver City Police Announce Parking Alert for USC Football Game

Those planning on taking the Expo Line from Culver City to this Saturday’s football game should arrive early at the Expo parking lot on National Boulevard.

On Sat. Oct. 20, the University of Southern California football team will host the Colorado Buffalos at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum starting at 3 p.m.

The Culver City Police Department is advising those planning on taking the Expo Line from Culver City arrive early at the Expo parking lot on National Boulevard.   The lot was full over three hours prior to the start of the last at-home game.

Culver City Police say they will issue citations to those who illegally park in the areas of Culver City close to the Expo Line parking lot.

Police are urging commuters to use the Ince parking structure located in downtown Culver City (by Trader Joe’s), which offers free parking for the first two hours and charges $1.00 dollar an hour after.  The Ince structure is approximately a five-minute walk from the Expo Line.

Any questions should be directed to the Culver City Police Department Traffic Bureau at 310-253-6250.

How about encouraging people to walk, bike or take a bus to the stations?
