Culver City Gears Up for Fire Service Day Celebration

As it does every year the celebration (complete with pancake breakfast) will take place alongside the 10th Annual Cruisin' Back to the '50s Car Show on Sat. May 11.

The Culver City Fire Department will once again open its doors to the public on Fire Service Day - Sat. May 11 -  from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Fire Station #1, 9600 Culver Blvd.

The annual tradition will once again coincide with the Culver City Exchange Club's Annual Car Show. 

Fire Service Day will kick off with the popular all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. served by firefighters and City employees.The Open House will also feature guided station tours, activities for kids including a coloring contest with a chance to win Fire Department t-shirts, equipment displays, and even some fire coats to try on for the public.

Culver City’s CERT team will be providing information and assistance, and Culver City Fire Department hats and t-shirts will be available for purchase.

Cost for the feast is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and kids (kids under 12 free).
