The following information is from the Culver City Police Department:

Crime blotter for Dec. 10-17

Stolen Vehicle:

On December 11, 2013 at 10:35 am, officers responded to the 4300 block of Globe Avenue regarding a stolen vehicle. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; her daughter drove to the vehicle to the area of Washington Boulevard and Sawtelle Boulevard and parked the vehicle at 3:00 am. When she returned in a few minutes her 1996 Mercury van missing.

Car Burglary:

On December 14, 2013 at 11:30 pm, a victim called the police department to report her 1995 Toyota had been burglarized. The victim said he parked and locked his vehicle in the area of Overland Avenue and Ocean Drive at 8:30 pm. When he returned at 10:00 pm he discovered the doors were unlocked and his property missing.

On December 16, 2013 at 1:33 pm, a victim called the police department to report unknown suspect(s) had destroyed his wood fence located in the 3800 block of Watseka Avenue. The victim said between December 14th and December 15th unknown suspects use an unknown type tool to damage his fence. 

Commercial Burglary:

On December 16, 2013 at 1:23 am, officers responded to the 6220 block of Bristol Parkway regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met the victim who told them the following; he locked and secured his business at 6:30 pm. He was notified by the alarm company and responded to his business and met with the officers. The officers noticed the front window was smashed and his property missing.

Vehicle Tampering:

On December 17, 2013 at 12:00 pm, a victim called the police department to report his 2006 Chevy truck door lock had been damaged. The victim said he parked and locked his truck in the 11300 block of Washington Boulevard on December 16th at 6:00 pm. When he returned the next morning he noticed the damage to his door lock.
