Culver City Crime Blotter: Residential Burglary and Vandalism

Crime Blotter for January 14th through the 20th.

Car Burglary:

On January 14, 2014 at 4:00 pm, a victim came to the station to report that her 2004 Volkswagen was burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the area of Jefferson Boulevard and Hetzler Road on January 14, 2014 at 10:00 am. When she returned at 12:00 pm, she discovered her car’s passenger side window was opened and her property missing.

On January 16, 2014 at 7:50 am, a victim called the police department to report his 2005 Chevrolet had been vandalized. The victim said he parked and locked his vehicle in the 4100 block of Milton Avenue on January 15, 2014 at 6:00 pm. When he returned at 7:30 pm, he discovered the front windshield had been smashed. 

Residential Burglary:

On January 16, 2014 at 5:09 pm, officers responded to the 4500 block of Jasmine Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victims who told them following; they left their residence locked and secured at 3:00 pm. When they returned at 4:50 pm, they discovered the rear doors had been shattered and their property missing.

Car Burglary:

On January 17, 2014 at 7:00 am, a victim called the police department to report her 2008 Chevrolet had been burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the 10900 block of Culver Boulevard on January 16, 2014 at 9:30 pm. When she returned the next morning she discovered her property missing.

Stolen Vehicle:

On January 17, 2014 at 7:40 pm, officers responded to the 4000 block of Higuera Street regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she parked and locked her 2010 Mazda on January 16, 2014 at 6:00 pm. When she returned on the next day her car was missing.
