Culver City Crime Blotter: Man Robbed by Suspect with Gun

The following information is from the Culver City Police Department:

Crime Blotter for November 11th through November 18th. 

Commercial Burglary:

On November 12, 2013 at 4:00 pm, the reporting party came to the police department to report that his employer was the victim of a burglary. The R/P said that two suspects entered the business located in the 13400 block of Washington Boulevard at around 7:40 pm on November 11, 2013. Both suspects entered the location and removed merchandize by concealing the items and then leaving the location without paying. The suspects were described as male Blacks, 35 years of age, 180- 200 pounds and 5’8 to 6’0 in height.

Street Robbery:

On November 12, 2013 at 7:20 pm, officers responded to the area of Bristol Parkway and Green Valley Circle regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; he was walking in the area when he was approached by two suspects. The suspects stopped the victim and suspect #1 lifted his shirt and showed the victim he had a handgun in his waistband. Suspect #1 then demands the victim’s property, fearing for his safety he gives the suspect his property. Both suspects then fled the area. The suspect(s) were described as male Blacks, 16-18 years of age, 5’5 to 5’6, short black hair, both wearing hooded sweatshirts.

Commercial Burglary;

On November 14, 2013 at 3:40 am, officers responded to the 4500 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding burglary alarm activation. The officers arrived and discovered the front windows of the location had been smashed out. The manager arrived and checked the location and discovered no property had been taken. It appears the suspects entered he location but left without any property.

Stolen Car:

On November 14, 2013 at 1:00 pm, officers responded to the 5550 block of Kinston Avenue regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she parked and locked her 1996 GMC Jimmy and the last time she saw the vehicle was on October 15, 2013.

Vandalism:

On November 15, 2013 at 5:45 pm, a victim came to the police department to report his 2011 Ford Flex had been vandalized. He said he parked and locked is car in the 11130 block of Jefferson Boulevard at 9:30 am. When he returned at 10:00 am he discovered an unknown suspect had keyed the right passenger door also a small dent.
