Crime Blotter: A Robbery, Burglary, Forgery and Auto Theft
People reporting crimes to the Culver City Police Station included a man missing money from his checking account, a robbery victim, and victims of three different crimes involving their cars.

Car Burglary:
On March 23 at 7:30 p.m., a man called the station to report a car burglary. The victim said he parked and locked his 2008 Cadillac near the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Slauson Avenue at 3:30 p,m. When he returned at 7:20 p.m. he discovered his vehicle had been burglarized and his property missing.

Forgery:
On March 24, at 10:30 a.m., a man reported that an unknown suspect, or suspects, withdrew money from the man's checking account. The man said he received his bank statement and noticed three transactions and purchases that he did not make. The man said he did not give anyone permission to access his bank accounts.

Vandalism to a Vehicle:
On March 24, at 11 a.m., a woman contacted the police department to report that the driver’s side window of her car had been smashed out. The woman said she parked and locked her 2000 Cougar in the 11600 block of Washington Boulevard on March 23 at 7 p.m. When she returned on March 24 at 9 a.m., she noticed the damage to her window.
Robbery:
On March 25, at 8:30 a.m., officers responded to a robbery call in the 3800 block of Culver Center Street. The officers were told that the suspect, described as a male white, 25-30 years of age, short black hair, wearing a dark colored jacket and blue jeans, entered the location and removed some property. The victim attempted to detain the suspect but the suspect pushed the victim and fled the location.
Stolen Car:
On March 27, at 5:15 p.m., a man reported to the police station that report his 1994 Jeep was stolen. The man said he parked and locked his vehicle in the 4100 block of Minerva Avenue on March 26 at 6:00 pm. When he returned on March 27th, his vehicle was missing. The man said he did not give anyone permission to take his vehicle.
