Big Rig Collision on the 405
Four people from the scene are transported to local hospitals.
As many as four people may have been injured Monday morning when a sedan and a big rig collided in Culver City, causing the big rig to jackknife and causing the car to become partially stuck under the big rig, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported at 2:55 a.m. on the southbound San Diego (405)
Freeway at Washington Boulevard, according to the CHP.
The CHP shut down all but the slow lane for about 30 minutes to clear the car and jackknifed big rig, officials said.

A press photographer at the scene said an adult was trapped inside the car and had to be extricated by Culver City firefighters. He said another adult and two children were not trapped but needed help getting out of the car. All four were transported to hospitals for treatment of injuries, according to the press photographer.
