UPDATE: Beverly Hills Police Stop Reported Stolen Car in Culver City

The driver is pulled over near Washington and National boulevards. Two adults are arrested.

Updated 6:44 p.m. Lt. Nutall of the Beverly Hills police reports two adults were arrested and taken into custody without incident. Following standard protocol for stolen vehicles, police drew their weapons when conducting the traffic stop.

Original: Police are investigating a stolen car Sunday night at the corner of Washington and National boulevards, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department. The Culver City Police Department is assisting.

According to Beverly Hills Police Lt. Lincoln Hoshino, officers were following a stolen car. There is no information confirmed on whether anyone has been detained.

Hoshino said the vehicle is entered into their database as stolen, and they are trying to determine whether the car is in fact stolen and if the driver has a relationship with the owner.

According to ‏@Culvercity311, the driver was reportedly held at gunpoint. Check out this photo posted on Twitter of the traffic stop.
