Update: Culver City Armed Robbery Suspects Still at Large

Culver City Police say no arrests were made following Thursday night's robbery and the investigation is continuing.

Update: Fri, Sept. 7, 9:30 a.m.

Culver City Police Department officer Sergeant Nielsen told Patch Friday morning that none of the suspects were arrested last night and the investigation is ongoing.

An armed robbery took place around 9 p.m. at Lucerne Avenue and Ince Street in Culver City Thursday night, according to reports.

Culver City Police are currently being assisted by Los Angeles Police Department helicopters in the area. As of 11:30 p.m. police were focusing their search on Higuera and Lindblade streets and as of 12:20 p.m.the suspects were still on the loose.

According to an unconfirmed eyewitness report who said he saw the suspects run past him while he was walking his dog,  the suspects are three young African Americans. One was riding a bicycle and the other two were on foot. The eyewitness said he saw one of the suspects had "big hair" and another was wearing shorts.
