El Rincon School and the CCEF All For 1 Campaign

It’s exciting to see our students reaping the benefits of the Culver City Education Foundation’s generosity.

I support the Culver City Education foundation and it’s All For 1 campaign and I hope you will, too, because CCEF has been a valuable mainstay of our school community for more years than I can count. Enhancing the education of our students has always been its top priority.

CCEF was crucial in putting together the funding for our state-of-the-art Science Lab. In addition, El Rincon has been the beneficiary of numerous grants throughout the years from the Culver City Education Foundation, which have funded an extraordinary variety of supplemental education materials and technology equipment for our students.

As the school secretary, I see firsthand all of the equipment funded by CCEF that comes into our school each year—Bright Link Boards, document cameras, LCD projectors and more.  This year, CCEF is also funding recorders for our third graders, additional technology, field trips and the licensing fees for our SuccessMaker software.

I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to see the teachers’ excitement when their grants are approved and their eagerness to use the technology in their classrooms. It’s exciting to see our students reaping the benefits of CCEF’s generosity.

Culver City Education Foundation:  You are our heroes.

Sincerely,

Debbie Hamme

School Secretary

El Rincon Elementary

Thanks Debbie! There is no one better to speak to the issue how resources are distributed from CCEF to El Rincon than the person who is on the "front line" seeing directly what comes into the school. I am glad you posted this - it helps a lot to hear from someone AT El Rincon. Now let me see if I can get together a lil'mo cash and donate to CCEF ;-)
