Chamber of Commerce: Why You Should Vote For O’Leary, Weissman, Malsin and Clarke

All four Culver City Council candidates have an understanding of local government as well as a history of being involved in many segments of the community.

Your Culver City Chamber has endorsed four candidates for city council: Mehaul O’Leary, Andy Weissman, Scott Malsin and Jim Clarke.

The Culver City Chamber is a non-partisan, not for profit organization that has endorsed city council candidates for well over 50 years, regardless of political affiliations.

Our concern is that the candidates we endorse are qualified to hold office. That includes knowledge of municipal government and the ability to operate within those parameters.

Our endorsement interviews can be viewed at www.culvercitychamber.com. When you see them it will become apparent that the four endorsed candidates have an understanding of local government as well as a history of being involved in many segments of the community.

During these difficult economic times, we do not have the luxury of training new council members on economic development issues now that the state has put our local redevelopment agency out of business.  Growing revenues in a sustainable, ongoing manner is the most important issue facing our new council.

We urge you to vote for Weissman, O’Leary, Malsin and Clarke on Tues. April 10.

Sincerely,
