The Academy of Visual and Performing Arts presents: JAVA GALA III ... "Steppin' Out"

Culver City High School's Academy of Visual and Performing Arts and the AVPA Foundation present:

JAVA GALA III

"Steppin’ Out"

Students from the Academy of Visual and Performing Arts will present “Java Gala III” on Friday night, June 3rd at 7pm at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. The annual event will feature work by AVPA students in Film, Theatre, Dance, Visual Art, and Music.

The pre-show reception, beginning at 7:00pm in the lobby, will include great food, refreshments, a no-host wine bar, live music, a terrific exhibition of student art, hors d'oeuvres, and a Silent Auction (cash and checks accepted).

At 8:00pm, the main stage event will begin, with performances in music, dance and theatre, as well as screening of student films.

Audience members will meet the talented performers and artists of the AVPA and are sure to be inspired by all. The two-hour program includes many performances all thematically tied to this year's Java Gala III theme of "STEPPIN’ OUT."

Treat yourselves to an evening of superb entertainment while helping to keep the arts thriving in our community! Everyone is welcome.

This event is the AVPA's gala fundraiser in a time of great budgetary challenges.

Tickets: $40 General Admission ($45 at the door); $50 Reserved Preferred Seating.
Advance tickets can be purchased at: http://www.avpa.org

NOTE: Season Passes are not valid for this benefit event.
