Community Corner

Fox Hills Park Pride Day

Fox Hills Neighborhood Association (FHNA), a not-for-profit organization, was established in 1972 to help enhance the livability of the Fox Hills area through unified community action. In continuing this tradition, FHNA will host the 5th Annual Fox Hills Park Pride Day on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Fox Hills Park in Culver City.  On this day, park improvement volunteers will plow, plant and paint and then be treated to lunch served in the park.

Fox Hills Park Pride Day is a beautification project to make our neighborhood park more enjoyable for both local residents and visitors.  In past years, over 50 volunteers of all ages, city officials and local businesses have joined forces to plant new flowers along the park's eroded hillsides and re-paint park surface areas.  Through generous donations, we have also purchased new park and picnic equipment.  And this year, we look forward to another successful event.

Fox Hills Park Pride Day is a 100% community supported event and all funds raised go directly back into the community.  Fox Hills Park Pride Day is an important annual event for our community as it brings together individuals who want to make our neighborhood a better place to live, work and play.
