2010 FIBI Holiday Networking Event
To help celebrate the 2010 Holiday Season and to help facilitate networking among various FIBI chapters, the For Investors By Investors (FIBI) Network is hosting a 2010 FIBI Holiday Networking Party that will include all of the FIBI chapters throughout SoCal. This event will be in place of our December meeting. The Summer Networking Party will be an informal networking event with light snacks and a cash bar and is being hosted at the Culver City Event Center. In case you weren't able to join us at the 2009 FIBI Holiday Party last December or our 2010 FIBI Summer Networking Event, it's worth noting that we had over 130 attendees and we anticipate that we will have 150+ attendees at this event thanks to our growing FIBI Network in SoCal. This event center has a capacity of 200 people and we invite you to help us celebrate the arrival of the Holiday season! We sincerely appreciate everyone's support of and interest in the FIBI Network and we look forward to seeing you at the event.
This event will be held in the usual FIBI philosophy of providing informal meeting environments without any sales pitches whatsoever with the goal of helping investors to network with and learn from others. Unlike other FIBI meetings and due to the large attendees that we expect, this meeting will not include a roundtable discussion but will simply be an informal networking event to celebrate the holidays. Please note that there will be a $20 cover charge payable at the door to help cover the costs of the event center and light snacks. We apologize that the cost is higher than our previous event (which was $15) and we want everyone to know that our goal is to cover our costs – NOT to make a profit. The increased cover charge reflects an increase in the cost of renting the event center.
