'We Tell Stories Plays' - Reading is So Delicious - "Let Them Eat Books"

Summer Reading Program continues with the magical interactive folklore and multicultural story-based plays of "We Tell Stories." Children are chosen from the audience to dress up and participate in the plays. The performances of "We Tell Stories" will take place every Wednesday at 2pm from June 26th through August 7th with a different food-related theme each week. The July 31st program is entitled "Let Them Eat Books" and features works of great literature with food at their core. The plays which will be performed are: "The King's Breakfast" by A.A. Milne; "The Walrus and the Carpenter" by Lewis Carroll; "Many Moons" by James Thurber; and "The Body and Its Members" by Aesop. These performances are made possible in part by a Culver City Art in Public Places Program Performing Arts Grant with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment. There is no registration required to attend.
