We Tell Stories Plays: Reading is So Delicious: Village of Liver & Onions

Summer Reading Program continues with the magical interactive folklore and multicultural story-based plays of "We Tell Stories." Children are chosen from the audience to dress up and participate in the plays. The performances of "We Tell Stories" will take place every Wednesday at 2 pm from June 26th through August 7th with a different food-related theme each week. The July 17th program is entitled "In the Village of Liver and Onions" and features American fairy tales by Carl Sandburg. The plays which will be performed are: "The Two Skyscrapers Who Decided to have a Child", "How Bimbo the Snip's Thumb Stuck to His Nose When the Wind Changed", and "Two Boys with Jugs of Molasses and Secret Ambitions." These performances are made possible in part by a Culver City Art in Public Places Program Performing Arts Grant with support from Sony Pictures Entertainment. There is no registration required to attend.
