Grand View Boulevard Elementary Spanish Immersion Program Tour (Mar Vista)

Come tour LAUSD's first and only 90:10 Spanish Immersion Program creating higher levels of bilingualism! Amazing things are happening here: 

•+129 point API increase in the last five years (804 in 2013), fantastic especially considering children are learning in Spanish and test-taking in English!

•English-speaking students may enter in Pre-K, Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten or 1st grade. Students need not have any prior Spanish or have a Spanish-speaking parent to succeed – young children at this age absorb new languages quickly!

•Incredible arts and enrichment programs, & free before and afterschool care.

•Permits are required and easily obtained.
