Culver City: They count. The question is: Will you?
Homeless counts are mandated every two years by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for all communities that receive federal funds for homelessness programs.
Culver City needs volunteers to conduct a count, which allows us to more accurately track the changes in homelessness and evaluate the success of local efforts. In addition, this information is used to help advocate, plan for and secure resources to assist people to regain self-sufficiency.
Volunteers will work in teams and will receive training in recording the count. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
Won't you consider joining us for this enormously powerful cause and help make Culver City better? We need your volunteer help to make this event a success. If you want to be involved, please e-mail me with your name and telephone number. firstname.lastname@example.org@culvercity.orgorCulver City Dept of Housing at (310) 253- 5780
