Downtown Culver City's Third Wed. "Out of This World" Happy Hour

Prepare for liftoff! Boldly take off for a neighborhood that's always over the moon and twinkling with stars on its tree-lined boulevards. Have a blast at NASA’s “Driven to Explore” multimedia exhibit, which is setting down for one day only in downtown Culver City. Learn about the future of the space program and touch a 4 billion-year-old moon rock taken from the last lunar landing of Apollo 17 in 1972. Afterwards, explore downtown Culver City’s constellation of fine dining restaurants, unique bars, galleries, and locally owned boutiques and specialty stores, all offering Third Wednesday free samples and discounts. Marvel at the eclectic sounds of Marston, Lord of the Cello performing on his unique six-string electric cello. Be an intrepid voyager — leave your car at home and ride the rails to the Expo Line Culver City Station. Culver City’s downtown area is Southern California’s best kept secret, featuring a wonderful mix of historic buildings, boutiques, theaters, galleries and unique restaurants opening on to tree-lined streets. Parking is free in municipal structures for up to two hours, or valet parking is available at three convenient Downtown locations. Wed. Feb. 19 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
