Downtown Culver City’s "All American" Happy Hour + Family Fun

Downtown Culver City invites you to celebrate a patriotic neighborhood-wide Happy Hour on the Third Wednesday of July. Grown-ups and kids alike can get in the American spirit with samples of All-American drinks and desserts throughout Downtown Culver City. Start out at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, where you can pet the miniature pony “Little Man” from Lythgoe Family Productions’ Princess and Pirates Sing-Along Concert and take a FREE family photo with a real life fairytale princess. Then, check in at any participating business to pick up your “Third Wednesday Passport" and get it stamped each time you sample a Patriot Drink or All-American Dessert. Stop by the Town Plaza and catch Rosendo and his band, with their own unique spin on Americana, and hit the corner of Culver and Washington to catch Nick Luca, who’s performed with such acclaimed artists as Sheryl Crow, Iron & Wine and more. At the end of the night, head back to the Kirk Douglas to drop off your passport and be entered in a raffle to win prizes, gift certificates and more, including a family four pack to Princess and Pirates (no purchase necessary). Culver City’s downtown area is Southern California’s best kept secret, featuring a wonderful mix of historic buildings, boutiques, theaters, galleries, and unique restaurants opening on to tree-lined streets. Parking is free in municipal structures for up to two hours, or valet parking is available at four convenient Downtown locations. Wednesday, July 16 from 5 p.m – 9 p.m. Free event.
