Annual Back Handspring Clinic with Olympian Coach Yefim Furman and Celebrity Clinician UCLA Gymnast Ariana Berlin

Yefim Furman is known as the worlds foremost leader in gymnastics. Coach Yefim is a 3 time USA Olympic Coach.

Internationally acclaimed coach Yefim Furman has taken the prestigious position of Head Coach at the Los Angeles School of Gymnastics. Yefim is a gymnastics veteran with over 50 years experience of history in the sport of Gymnastics. After leaving the UCLA Gymnastics Department after serving 17 years as a Gymnastics coach, he has found a new home at the LASG instructing thousands of aspiring athletes on a weekly basis. Yefim hosts an annual clinic that will focus on drills, back handsprings, tumbling basics, and much more!

Ariana Alyse Berlin was born in San Diego, California on October 29, 1987. She was also a dancer for three years at Sea World San Diego. Ariana walked on to the UCLA gymnastics team in the fall of 2005. She has earned a scholarship.In 1999, she competed as a level 9. She finished firstall-around at the level 9 Western Championships. She was training elite at the time of her accident. As a freshman at UCLA , she competed in the all-around. She was selected the UCLA/Met-Rx Student-Athlete of the Week in January. Ariana also earned Pac-10 Gymnastics of the Week honors. She finished third on vault at the NCAA Regional Championships. She was named Pac-10 Co-Freshman of the Year.
Ariana was an NACGC Scholastic All-American and an honorable mention Pac-10 All-Academic honoree. She placed in the top 3 in 5 of her 7 all-around competitions. She won the all-around at the John Wooden Challenge. She led off on vault in the final rotation of the NCAA Championships. She continued to be a solid contributor during her junior season. She won beam against Washington.
