Culver City Elections: Incumbents Return Easily to City Council

The voters in Culver City handily returned Mayor Jeff Cooper and City Councilman Jim B. Clarke to office in Tuesday's election.

According to unofficial results posted at the city's website, Cooper received the most votes, with 2,167. Clarke was right behind with 2,072.

The two challengers weren't really close. Christopher Patrick King clocked in with 1,181 votes, while with 288 votes, Gary D. Abrams didn't get close to four digits.

The results are considered "semi-official," according to Culver City's website.
