Your Culver City Patch Editor Is on Vacation

Dear Culver City residents,

I’m off on a two week vacation and I’ll be leaving Culver City Patch in the very capable hands of John Schreiber – another of our fantastic Patch editors -who also happens to be the world’s most brilliant photographer. Remember the Endeavour pics? Those were John’s.

While I am officially on vacation, don’t be surprised if you see me around Culver City. I’m not off to some Caribbean Island where I’ll be sipping Mai Tai’s (maybe next year). Rather, my mum is flying in from Israel and she hasn’t been here for a couple of years so we’ll definitely be checking out some of the great things Culver City has to offer. As you know, there are a slew of new restaurants that have opened and we’ll definitely be sampling them!

You’ll also see us this weekend. My mother has arrived in the nick of time for us to wander downtown to the Car Show this Sat. May 11. We’ll also be doing Mother’s Day Brunch at the Culver Hotel on Sun. May 12, so you may see us there.

We already have plans to stop by and check out the newly installed Rainbow at Sony; pay a visit to the Gatsby exhibit at the Century Guild Gallery; and a trip to the Wende Museum.

My mother’s also a huge coffee fan so a trip to Cognoscenti is on the cards, among other things and we’re bound to catch a movie at the Pacific 12 Stadium.

I’m so excited to show my mother round Culver City – among other places – so do say hi if you see us.
