What is the city's most important issue? A big issue, I would probably say, has to do with the parks in the city. I think that we should have several more parks, and ones that aren't so small. We need at least one new one for kids, a park that is big enough for picnics and for the family to have a BBQ. It's great to have all of the trees—we need that oxygen to breathe, after all.

What would you change about Culver City if you could? I would change something simple: There are too many lights, so that drivers are always having to stop and go. We need to fix the whole traffic lights situation.

Where's your favorite place in town to eat, shop or relax? Pier One and Bed, Bath & Beyond; they always have new things. With my interior design background, I appreciate the turnover and the constant arrival of new things. I find things for my business often, and a piece or two here and there can make for a good accessory. Compared to other places in the world, shopping in Culver City is relaxing to me.

Describe Culver City in three words. Fantastic spending place.
