Rescue Dog of the Week: Tinkerbell, the Terrier Mix
This tiny pup gets along well with other dogs and children.
Tinkerbell is a tiny and spunky mix of Yorkshire and Silky Terrier. A colorful dog, both in spirit and in fur coat—her hair is tan, yellow and and pale—the 8-month-old pup is looking for a permanent home. She was given to Mary's Little Lambs by owners who weren't able to take care of her anymore, and is now awaiting new owners to love.
A social butterfly, Tinkerbell is house-trained and gets along with other dogs and kids. Soon to be spayed, she has been vaccinated and microchipped.
Mary's Little Lambs Animal Rescue is made up of a small group of individuals who rescue stray dogs and cats from the streets of Los Angeles and Culver City, and also bail them out of "death row" at the city shelters in order to find them good and loving homes. Its mission is simply to provide a needed service to all animals, large and small.
