1. El Rincon Elementary School Movie Night

Why go: Bring the family to El Rincon Elementary for a fun, family movie night with the screening of Rio: The Movie. Enjoy a great Brazilian dance party, featuring a live DJ, plus food and beverages. Bring chairs, blankets, and enjoy the show.

2. The Actors' Gang's Production of Peter Barnes' "Red Noses"

Where/When: , 9070 Venice Blvd, Culver City. Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m.

Why go: The Actors' Gang will begin productions of Peter Barnes' Olivier award-winning comedy, Red Noses, directed by Dominique Serrand. This play is a dark comedy set in France in 1348, during the Black Death in Europe. During those hopeless times, one priest sets-out to make people laugh. The show will run through Nov. 19 at the Media Park.

3. Secrets of Writing Electronic Resumes for the 21st Century

Where/When: , 5700 Buckingham Pky, Culver City. Saturday at 12 p.m.

Why go: Join the Agape International Spiritual Center for an informative workshop with Tessa Aura Adler, and learn how to write an influential, electronic resume, filled with keywords and accomplishments that will pass the computer screening and get to the employers online attention.

4. Bizarre Baazar!

Why go: Royal/T presents Bizarre Bazaar! This is a great, pop-up holiday bazaar for everyone to enjoy and support local shops, artists, and designers at Royal/T's one day only trunk show.

5. Artist Reception with Mykal Aubry

Where/When: , 5700 Buckingham Pky, Culver City. Sunday at 5 p.m.

Why go: Come to the Agape International Spiritual Center for an artist reception with artist Mykal Aubry and experience his Light-Seven art exhibit. Mykal Aubry will lead a guided chakra meditation for everyone to try. Experience healing, peace, joy and a deeper dimension of your own soul, plus enjoy great music and refreshments.
