Go Ice Skating and Head Over to Royal/T

Take the Culver City Ice Arena by storm, see a comedy and other Thursday treats.

1) Here is another chance to get a coffee and exercising jump-start before this week is over: The Coffee Club at the Culver Ice Arena starts Thursday morning at 9:45 a.m. With a $10 fee, the Basic Skating Skills-required social event includes two hours of skating and a group lesson from 9:45 a.m. to 10:30am. 2) The Exposition Light Rail Transit Project Information and Updates meeting  at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, bringing important status reports to those who want to know the scoop about the light rail. Open to the public, the event will be held at the Culver City Senior Center. Culver City Senior Center, 4095 Overland Avenue.

3) Cold weather or not, is never a bad idea in the name of fundraising, says the Culver City Education Foundation. The school is hosting a Panther Partner's Menchie's Fundraiser Thursday at the yogurt joint. See the CCEF site for more information. Menchie's Frozen Yogurt, 5622 Sawtelle Blvd.

4)  The Super Serious Show, a monthly live comedy show at Smashbox Studios Culver City, is a chance to insert a little bit of laughter into everyday life. 5) Royal/T will host Touch On: The Evolution of How We Work, Play and Interact, Thursday evening. Featuring fun digital talks, free libations and good conversations with digital creative types, it will be a night of learning and meeting new people.
