Los Angeles resident Christine Dahab, 28, will be arraigned on a felony charge on July 26, stemming from .
At approximately 1:40 a.m. on June 16, 2011, Dahab was driving in the 9200 block of Jefferson Blvd. when she struck and hit dozens of cyclists, injuring 13.
The case was originally investigated by traffic investigators from the Culver City Police Department and was then submitted to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office.
The DA's office charged Dahab on Nov. 11, 2011 with violating California Vehicle Code Section 23153 (A) [Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol causing injury], and California Vehicle Code Section 23153 (B) [Driving while Intoxicated above a .08 blood alcohol content, causing injury].
A court representative told Patch Friday morning that currently the only charge on the docket against Dahab is California Vehicle Code Section 23153 (A).
Dahab will be arraigned in Judge Patricia Schnegg’s court at the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center in Downtown Los Angeles.
