So Long, Sazon

The Latin fusion restaurant on the Culver City/Mar Vista border is shutting up shop.

It’s difficult to keep up with all the comings and goings when it relates to eateries in Culver City. But, it’s true. Another restaurant on the Culver City/Mar Vista border is heading out of town.

Sazon Latin Fusion on 12406 W. Washington Boulevard (at the corner of Centinela Avenue) is soon to be no more, reports Los Angeles Grub Street.

Owner Claudia Quihuis didn’t just bring great food to the area (check out Patch’s reviews here and here), she also came up with the idea to create a gallery space at the restaurant that would feature emerging and longtime artists.

Quihuis told Grub Street she’ll be gone in a matter of weeks, and it’s bound to simply be a matter of time before someone else moves into the evacuated digs.
