Smashburger to Hand Out Free Burgers to Burger-Named Customers

Have a name like Berger, Weinberger or Rosenberger? There is a free burger in your future.

The Culver City Smashburger will be handing out free burgers Tuesday to anyone with a last name that resembles the word "burger."

Whether it be Weinberger, Rosenberger, or just simply Burger, anyone with proof of a burger-centric last name will receive a free classic smash burger in celebration of National Burger Day on May 28, the company announced last week.

A proof of last name such as a drivers license, passport or photo identification will be required to get the free burger.

The offer is valid at all Smashburger locations in Los Angeles, including the Culver City restaurant at 10704 Venice Boulevard.
