Shop Locally in Culver City on Small Business Saturday Nov. 24

Start your holiday shopping at locally owned stores during Small Business Saturday.

Small Business Saturday is on Nov. 24 this year, two days after Thanksgiving. It is a day for everyone to support the small businesses that their community thrives on.

American Express founded the day in 2010 to help small businesses get exposure during the holiday season, when they might be otherwise overlooked. With retailers buzzing around the holidays, it is important to support local small businesses that rely on their neighbors in order to continue prospering and building the local economy in Culver City. 

The Culver City Chamber of Commerce issued a statement highlighting the importance of Small Business Saturday for Culver City, saying:

Small Business Saturday is a day for everyone - from the business owners who create jobs to the customers who buy locally - to support small businesses that invigorate the economy and keep communities thriving.

Last year, over 100 million people came out to shop at independently owned small businesses on the day. Now, in its third year, Small Business Saturday will be even bigger.
 
Small Business Saturday is between Black Friday and Cyber Monday come out and support local Small Business by shopping SMALL. Culver City character and friendliness comes from Small Business. 
 
Join your friends and neighbors at Small Business throughout Culver City such as local restaurants, local gift shops, men's and ladies' fashions, home furnishings, hardware and supply stores as well as locally owned auto dealers in Culver City. We hope to see you shopping local on November 24, 2012.
