Readers' Choice: Vote for Your Favorite Coffee Spot

We're looking for the best place to grab a cup of coffee (or tea, if you prefer) in Culver City.

We've tallied your nominations and voting has begun in our bigger and better Readers’ Choice, just in time for summer! We've got 25 great categories, all designed to take advantage our readers’ local expertise.

Coffee shops used to be about the food and maybe even the coffee. Now, they're just as much floating offices, hangouts, wifi providers and charging stations as they are purveyors of caffeine, and each one has its own peculiar vibe. So what's your favorite coffee stop in Culver City?

The polls will close on Aug. 17 at 11:59 p.m. Help spread the word about your favorite spot for in Culver City by sharing this poll on Facebook and Twitter.

Feel free to vote as many times as you like until the polls close on Aug. 17, but please only vote once per day.

Be sure to like Culver City Patch on Facebook and follow us on Twitter

Coffee Conservatory, natch. Awesome vibe, great coffee and they were wonderful supporters of JavaGala, the fundraiser for CCHS's JavaGala.

Essential Chocolate Desserts is the best Coffeehouse and Bakery! Where else can you get an Affogato made with real Lappert's Ice Cream or enjoy a micro roasted Mocha with their Gourmet Ding Dongs. They support CCEF and other local non-profits and the owners live in Culver City. It's the best coffeehouse in Culver City.

Gotta go with Akasha. Love the fact that most of the coffee is single-sourced. Akasha's my spot. Patrick Meighan Culver City, CA

Only the Conservatory!!!!!! I cannot believe what Im reading?? A.J. roasts his own beans (organic, no less), he is there at 6 am everyday and they know how to make the best latte in town!!!! Super quality coffee that is pure, clean and not burnt. Awesome vibe and truly for serious coffee lovers who know their beans. elisabeth hebert

Coffee Conservatory! Best taste, best vibe, friendliest people, most community-conscious. Hands down on all counts.

Coffee Conservatory is the real deal. No wi-fi, people actually talk to eachother. The smell of roasting coffee alone is enough reason to go there. Plus, it has Culver City's very 1st bike corral - where 10 bikes can fit in the space of 1 car - big thanks to my colleague Jeff Cooper, our Public Works team & Conservatory owner for making this possible. It's the "cherry on top" of the best coffee in Culver City!
