Platine Provides Sweet and Savory Treats for the Masses

Bite-sized treats compete at Platine Cookies.

As you walk into Platine Cookies, expect to be greeted by a radiant smile from award-winning owner and Chef Jamie Cantor. Platine is known around town for its handmade cookies and pastries made from all-natural ingredients, mixed in small batches under Cantor's watchful eye. She has turned her passion and creative know-how for baking cookies and pastries into a eight-year business, the last two with this retail store in Culver City.

Cantor was formally trained at in the culinary arts at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY were she was awarded the 1998 Women Chefs and Restaurateurs Scholarship, enabling her to continue her culinary education at the CIA Greystone Campus in the Napa Valley, CA.
