The West Los Angeles Group of the Sierra Club is proud to present, “Economics Built on Beauty and Community” with Greg Wendt, Vice President of Sustainable and Responsible Investing with EP Wealth Advisors, Inc. Greg has earned a reputation as one of California’s leading experts in Sustainable and Responsible Investing. Every dollar you spend or invest has an impact on the planet and your community. Sustainable and Responsible Investing is about making financial and investment choices that are in alignment with your positive social, environmental, ethical and spiritual values. Learn how social and environmental consciousness is leading society away from traditional profit-driven capitalism to efforts such as the Transition Town Movement and the Slow Food Movement.

Event details: Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at 7pm at Culver City Veterans Memorial Auditorium in the Uruapan Room, 4117 Overland Ave., Culver City 90230. This free educational event is sponsored by the West Los Angeles Group of the Sierra Club’s Angeles Chapter. Plenty of free lighted bike & car parking. Refreshments are served and there is always a lively talk accompanying the program.
