DogTown CrossFit Prepares for "Crush Cancer" Event

This weekend's fundraiser is part of a global effort.

DogTown CrossFit wants to help local residents stand up to cancer this weekend at a benefit.

"Crush Cancer" will take place on Saturday, Oct. 12, around the world and in Culver City.

Participants both locally and in other cities will participate in strenuous 17-minute “Crush Cancer” workouts consisting of five movements, including Kettleball Swings, "Burpees," and "Double Unders."

Advanced, intermediate and novice skill levels will all be represented.

As part of the fundraiser, there will also be a health expo, food booths and vendors.

The festivities will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12.
with the main event taking place downtown at 9300 Culver Blvd.
