Culver City LA Fitness Open House Saturday

When LA Fitness took over the old Bally’s gym last year on Overland Avenue and set about remodeling the premises, the re-opening was slated for early January.

The $1 million revamp took longer than anticipated, but now, the new, improved LA Fitness is finally open and the public is invited to come by and check out the new premises at 3827 Overland Ave. this Sat. March 23 between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

The new premises boast new equipment, a new personal training area, a new Kids’ Klub, a new cycling studio, a renovated aerobics room and new lockers along with the de rigueur new flooring, paint and lighting.

Among the activities on offer on Saturday are:

• Take a club tour and become a member
• Bring your workout clothes and enjoy complimentary workouts
• Try a sample ZUMBA® Class at 12 p.m.
• Complimentary fitness assessments
• Live DJ
• Bring the kids! Face Painting Clown from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Complimentary healthy snacks
