Culver City Biz Buzz: The Sensitive Baker

This Washington Boulevard shop offers a tasty option for gluten-free and vegan folk.

Offering more than 30 different baked goods—all of which are gluten-free, dairy-free, casein-free and kosher—The Sensitive Baker is nestled on Washington Boulevard. Owned by Bob Goldberg and Dan and Edie Irwin, the idea for the bakery began when Edie and Dan's graphic design business languished in the recession, The New York Times reports in a recent article

The Sensitive Baker offers both fresh and frozen goods including scones, cupcakes, pizza crusts, breads, cookies, cakes and bagels.

The Sensitive Baker; Hours are Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; 310-815-1800
