Police Seek Public's Help in Missing 12-Year-Old Culver City Boy

Police asked for the public's help today in locating a missing 12-year-old Culver City boy.

Elijah Gurubel was last seen in the area of Washington Boulevard and Beethoven Street around 8 p.m. Saturday after walking to a convenience store to buy candy with his younger brother, said Capt. Ron Iizuka with the Culver City Police Department.

Only the younger brother returned, telling his mother that he would see Elijah again when school starts, Iizuka said.

Elijah is black. He was wearing blue jeans with a blue shirt when last seen, Iizuka said.

Anyone with information on Elijah's whereabouts was asked to call the Culver City Police Department at (310) 837-1221.
